According to the press release, Dentsu, the parent company of Geneon Entertainment, will transfer 80.1% of the stock of Geneon Entertainment to Universal Pictures International Entertainment (one of the sections of US NBC Universal Inc.), and Geneon and Universal Pictures Japan will be merged into a new company in February 2009.
