A retail promotional ad for April books from ASCII MediaWorks’ Dengeki Bunko imprint announced that the Toradora! will be animated.
Toradora! is a series of light novels by Yuyuko Takemiya. The story is about two students who are shunned by their peers. Ryūji Takasu is an ordinary boy who is misperceived as a troublemaker. Taiga Aisaka is a tiny, but ferocious girl who can’t stand the company of others. They bump into each other at school and so begin their love-hate relationship.
The light novels won the Kadokawa’s 2007 Light Novels Awards for Best Romantic Comedy in September.
