Three new OVAs for the anime series Mahou Sensei Negima based on the manga Negima! Magister Negi Magi by Ken Akamatsu will be released. The three OVAs will ship along with the manga volumes 23-25, with one OVA each. The first OVA, which is released with volume 23 on July 17th, will cover the 176th and 177th chapters of the manga. The second, which is released with volume 24 on Ocotber 17th, will cover chapter #’s 178 to 180. The third OVA to be released ships with volume 25 on January 27th, 2009, and covers chapters 182 to 183. The three OVAs are being animated by SHAFT, who animated the second series of the anime.
