A 10 year old boy in Everett, Washington was hospitalized after being buried by people imitating Naruto. The boy was buried head first in a sandbox in a 1 foot (30.48cm) deep sandbox. He was buried from his head to his chest in the sand; he supposedly started thrashing, but the other kids just thought he was playing. When they finally got him out, they had to perform CPR until the ambulance was able to take him to the hospital. The boy is currently listed in critical condition.

It seems that the boy has been pronounced dead after being in the hospital in critical condition.
“He passed peacefully, with his family at his side,” the boy’s family said in a statement. “We appreciate all the support and prayers that we have received.”
