It was confirmed by Japan’s PAL Entertainment Productions that production of a live-action of Grave of the Fireflies will begin next month and the movie be released by next summer. Grave of the Fireflies was origianlly a 1967 novella by Akiyuki Nosaka that was made into anime in 1988 by Studio Ghibli.
