It was at the San Francisco 2007 COMIC-CON INTERNATIONAL that Viz Media released an array of titles for manga and anime that they are planning to release during 2008.
The convention, which is the premiere event for the comics industry in North America, drew more than 120,000 attendees. Viz Media is one of the most comprehensive and innovative companies in the field of manga publishing, animation and entertainment licensing of Japanese content.

NARUTO™ THE MOVIE: NINJA CLASH IN THE LAND OF SNOW – in September
BLEACH™ DVD Box Set – in October
DEATH NOTE – in November. Also a special Limited Edition will be released featuring a collectable figurine of the deathgod Ryuk. Later volumes will include figurines of Light, L, Misa, and other popular characters.

This is an original novel based on characters and concepts from the manga, anime and movie that takes place in Los Angeles with detective L working with a former FBI agent to help the LAPD investigate grisly serial killer crimes.
