According to the official website, an original TV anime “Girls und Panzer” was announced to be aired this year. The director is Mizushima Tsutomu and it will be a school military battle action anime.

Director Mizushima said the anime doesn’t show Pantsu. A manga adaptation will be serialized in Comic Flapper magazine from June.
Synopsis:
In the world, the manipulation of tanks (Sensha-do) is one of the traditional martial arts especially for girls. Miho doesn’t like Sensha-do and moves to Oarai Girl’s High School. But the chairperson of the student council orders Miho to participate in the national Sensha-do championship.
