About one thousand years in the future, the civilization has been retrograded and the humans are living dispersed within small communities. People in the era have a psychic power called “Juryoku”, which materialize things they imagine in their mind. In the absence of advanced scientific technology, they are using the power as a major source of energy. One day, Saki and her friends find a small archive robot outside the town. It records the old history of the humans. It tells them that “Juryoku” was found in 21st century and the discovery caused a world war between psychics and non-psychics. The world was ruled by the psychics and the reign of terror had begun. That was a prohibited knowledge and the adults in the town seal Juryoku of the children. Saki an others are deserted in a forest and there they meet a huge hairless mouse “Bakenezumi”. They are involved in the violent war among the bipedal-walking creatures.
