According to the official website, Japanese anime & film producer T.O Entertainment announced that they are producing an anime movie based on RPG game “Mass Effect” with FUNimation and Bioware. Worldwide streaming and disc media release of the anime are scheduled in 2012. Theater releases in Japan have been planned.
T.O Entertainment is the production company of Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu, Freezing and Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu. The company has also been producing a CGI film of Bioware’s RPG “Dragon Age” with FUNimation.

Update Mar 13th
An official website of the anime “Mass Effect: Paragon Lost” was launched on March 6th. It will be a prequel to “Mass Effect 3”. Production I.G was announced to participate in the production of the anime.
