According to Mainichi news, Tobe Keiko, the author of manga With the Light: Raising an Autistic Child passed away on January 28th. She was 52. The serialization of “With the Light (Hikari to Tomoni)” had been suspended since January 2009 due to the illness of the author. The translated edition of the manga has been published in US, Canada, Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
