On January 5th, a large amount of the production material of Katanagatari was leaked to the file sharing. The data includes the character designs, the draft storyboards up to episode 8, and the scenarios up to episode 10.

Judging from the ID of the FTP, the source of the leak is probably one of the staff of White Fox, Koresawa Hideyuki’s directory.

White Fox admitted that their FTP server was hacked and concealed data was stolen. They apologized to the companies involved and the fans. They will investigate the case with Tokyo Metropolitan Police.
