VIZ Media launched an online monthly manga magazine IKKI on May 21st. “Children of the Sea (Kaijuu no Kodomo)” is available for free viewing.

It’s a US version of Japanese monthly magazine IKKI and VIZ Media is going to serialize “Bokurano”, “Saraiya Goyou”, “Dorohedoro”, and “Boku wa Mada Honki wo Dashite Inaidake (Amazon Japan)” on IKKI US.
Anime!Anime! reported that the purpose of the free online magazine is the promotion of the Tankobon. Online releases save money and resources compared to the publication of paper magazines. The Tankobon of “Children of the Sea” will be released after the completion of the online serialization.
