A guide book of Gundam 00 “Mobile Suit Gundam 00 MISSION COMPLETE 2307-2312” released on May 8th. The book had interviews with the production staff. Among the positive comments of other staff, Chiba Michinori (the character designer and the episode art director) made negative remarks.
Chiba: We got a suspended sentence, so nothing to say about it.

Q. How do you think about your performance for Gundam 00?
Chiba: It was a tough job to work on HD format. The quality control was outside my province, but I concerned about the finish. I hope the audiences were pleased with the anime, yet.

Chiba: I have mixed feelings about it…
