According to Monthly Toy Journal April issue, the president of SEGA TOYS mentioned the third season of “Bakugan Battle Brawlers” in the interview. President Kokubun Isao said a marketing project coupled with the new anime “Bakugan 3” is underway and they are developing an international online game of the anime. He also announced that a new game will be released on Nintendo DS, Wii, Playstation 2&3 and XBOX 360 by Activision Blizzard.

A Hollywood movie of Bakugan was announced to be produced by Universal Pictures and Stuber Productions last December.

Despite the popularity in the North America, Bakugan hasn’t been very popular in Japan. The production studio of the first series once bankrupted having 6 billion yen in debt. The studio was rescued by several sponsors and relaunched in 2008.
