In the preview video of the live action movie “Dragon Ball Evolution”, Toriyama Akira gave a comment to the movie.
Toriyama Akira said:
As a creator of the original manga, I’m puzzled by the script and the characters, but the director, the actors and the other staff are all excellent. It’ll be a correct choice for me and the Dragon Ball fans to watch the movie as a “New Dragon Ball” belonging to a totally different sphere from the original. Perhaps, the movie will turn out to be a great masterpiece thanks to the efforts of the staff. I’m looking forward to seeing it!!
