Ryuhei Kitamura, known for directing Godzilla: Final Wars, will direct Wild Boar Media’s 50-minutes long animated feature “Baton.” The film is being conceptualized, voice acted, and written in Japan, but the animation will be done by the American studio Titmouse.
The movie is commissioned for the 150th birthday of the city of Yokohama, and will make use of a traditional and rotoscoped animation style. Release date is set for April 28th.
