Louvre Museum Exhibits The Arts of Manga JoJo’s Author

Louvre Museum in France has been holding an exhibition “Cartoons – The Louvre invites comic-strip art” and displaying original drawings of comic artists based on the artistic works and the exhibition rooms of the museum. Araki Hirohiko (“JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” ) was chosen as a representative of Japanese manga artists along the other famous comic artists such as Nicolas de Crécy, Marc-Antoine Mathieu, Éric Liberge and Bernard Yslaire. The exhibition will be held until April 13th.

Araki had drawn a cover illustration of a scientific journal “Cell” in 2007.
