Chief Editor of Monthly Shonen Sirius Arrested For Inflicting Bodily Injury

According to Sankei, Igarashi Hideyuki, the chief editor of Monthly Shonen Sirius, was arrested on suspicion of inflicting bodily injury on a woman. He allegedly picked a quarrel with women at a bar in Shinjuku and slapped one of them on the back of her head. The woman was not acquainted with him. Igarashi denied having committed the crime that he doesn’t remember the incident because he was drunk at the moment. Kodansha dismissed Igarashi from the position on July 6th.
