A 35 year old man was arrested for murder on March 9th in Taipei, Taiwan. He deposed that he committed the crime by referring to a Japanese manga which he read long time ago. Police explained to the press that he had lost his job and been in despair. He remembered a manga and thought killing people would improve the situation. He visited a landlord and asked the man to show him a room. He killed the landlord with a hammer and wounded the landlord’s wife and son with a large knife.
His favorite manga is reportedly “GUNNM (Battle Angel Alita)”.
