Konomi Takeshi (the author of manga “Prince of Tennis”) announced in a TV program that he will release a single CD “Tenipuri tte Iina/Smile” on August 19th. He not only sings the three songs included in the CD but also wrote and composed two of the songs for himself. He said he would have tried for a professional singer if he had not become a mangaka.
An extra chapter of “New Prince of Tennis” will be bundled with the single CD. He will sing the songs in front of the fans at “Tenipuri Festa 2009” to be held on September 6th.
