According to Amazon Japan, the Blu-ray and the DVD of Strike Witches The Movie were announced to be released on October 26th. The total box office revenue of the movie was 200 million yen ($2.6 million).

Akagi Haruyasu, the executive director of anime CGI studio Anima (“.hack//The Movie: Sekai no Mukou ni”), posted on his Twitter that a new anime of Strike Witches is likely to be produced following Vivid Red Operation because a continuation of the series was hinted at the end of the movie and emphasized by the lines of Eila.
