The drug company, Pfizer, who produces the drug Viagra, is serializing a manga, titled Nisemono? to help men who suffer from erectile dysfunction. The manga is created by Hiroshi Motomiya who is known for works such as Salaryman Kintaro among others that mainly appeal to men in their 30’s and 40’s; the same demographic that Viagra is marketed towards.
Pfizer reported only 2 days after the manga appeared on their website that the site’s traffic had reached the same level as the total volume from the previous month proving the manga played an important role in attracting visitors.
