According to Rocket News, a ground-breaking ceremony for an amusement park featuring one piece was held in Dafeng city in China on May 16th. The area of the park will be 135.5 ha and the total cost for the construction will be about $75 million. However, Shueisha, the publisher of One Piece replied to the inquiry of Rocket News that they have not granted an official permission to the project. Although the official Chinese translation of One Piece is “航海王”, the name of the amusement part is a theme park featuring “海賊王”, which is the common translation of One Piece used in pirated products.
