According to Newtype December issue, a Blu-ray Box of True Tears was announced to be released on March 26th, 2010. A three minute long short anime will be included in the boxset and it’s a sequel to the TV series.
However, the release of the boxset will be canceled if the number of the pre-orders are less than 2,000 copies.

According to the official website, the producers received more than 2,000 pre-orders and payments. The Blu-ray of true tears has got the green light.
