“Shojo Beat”, a Shojo manga magazine published in US, was announced to be discontinued this summer. The final issue will be released on June 19th. Shojo Beat was first issued in 2005 and currently publishes Honey and Clover and Vampire Knight.
According to VIZ Media, they decided to close Shojo Beat considering the current economic status and the limited amount of resources they have.
