According to Mainichi, the late Kurimoto Kaoru’s novel Guin Saga won the special award of the 30th Japan Sci-fi Taisho. The incomplete final volume 130 “The Unknown Tomorrow” will be released this month.
In the afterword of the volume 130, Kurimoto’s husband Imaoka Kiyoshi said he wants someone to succeed to the series.

The grand prize winner is Itoh Keikaku’s novel “Harmony”. Itoh passed away of lung cancer this March. He was 34 years old. He also wrote the novel adaptation of PS3 game Metal Gear Solid 4.
