According to NewType magazine, Hosoda Mamoru (the director of “Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo”) will make a new anime movie “Summer Wars”. It will be shown in the theaters in the summer of 2009.

Synopsis:
Koiso Kenji is a high school student. He is good at math but not good at getting along with people. In the summer vacation, Kenji is invited by his Senpai Shinohara Natsuki to her hometown in the countryside. There he meets a huge crowd of her relatives and a 90-year old energetic grandmother. At grandma’s command, he is involved in an eccentric “war”.
