The official website announced that Sengoku BASARA 2 will be aired in Sunday 5pm airing block, in which Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood has been aired. According to Taguchi Koji, the producer of Square Enix, the airing fee paid by the anime producers to the TV company depends on the timeslot and the fee of “Sunday 5pm, nationwide” block is 10 – 20 times largar than that of conventional “After-midnight, local” block. Taguchi said airing anime in the costly timeslot was extremely risky.
