Frontier Works announced the production of a new TV anime series “Umineko no Naku Koro Ni”. Umineko is originally a visual novel PC game produced by 07th Expansion. Its story and backgrounds are not related to the previous series “Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni (When they cry -Higurashi-)”. According to the press release, they will start making the anime from this summer. Further schedules have not been provided yet.
