According to the official website, the second season of Amagami SS titled “Amagami SS+ plus” was announced to be aired from January 2012. Each of the six heroines will be featured in a two-episode chapter in an omnibus format and the direct sequels to the first season will be animated. The new director Kobayashi Tomoki said he will put the anime-original elements forward in the second season.
