The procurator of anime production studio Trans Arts has announced that the studio has ceased business due to insolvency. The process for the bankruptcy will be carried out soon. Trans Arts was founded in 1967 and had been producing anime mainly as the subcontractor of Production I.G. From 2001 – 2005, Trans Arts produced Prince of Tennis in cooperation with I.G. Last year, they have participated in the production of Mirai Nikki, Persona 4 The Animation and Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko.
