According to Mainichi, the number of applicants for admission to Hokkaido Obihiro Agricultural High School Dairy Science Course was 68, up 110% from a year earlier. The high school is the model school of manga “Gin no Saji ~Silver Spoon~”. The school principal was pleased that the manga has drawn attention to agricultural schools among many junior high students, especially from outside of Hokkaido prefecture.
