According to Mainichi, Takenashi Eri will resume the serialization of manga Kannagi. The date of the restart will be announced in Comic Rex November issue to be released on October 9th. Kannagi manga has been suspended since January 2009 due to the illness of the author.
A spin-off manga of Kannagi titled “Kanpachi” by Takanashi’s brother Yuhki Shin-ichi has been serialized since this March. Takanashi is preparing for the restart by helping Kanpachi manga.

Update June 15th
According to the blog of Takenashi, the serialization of Kannagi manga will be resumed on July 27th. The first three episodes will be released monthly, but the following episodes will be published irregularly, probably once in two or three months. Takenashi said she hasn’t fully recovered.
