According to Animax, Production I.G’s new one shot anime “Shoka” was announced to be aired on March 27th. The original scenario is the 7th Animax Award winner in 2008.

The story takes place in Edo era. Jumonji, the leader of psychics “Gasendo”, notices a sign of rebellion against Tokugawa Shognate. Gasendo psychics weaponize their paintings and go war against giant monsters called “Gaju”.
