An employee at Kodansha was busted for sending fake emails to manga bloggers on November 28th. The employee pretended to be a college student and sent email surveys saying that they were conducting market research in order to obtain confidential information from the bloggers. The employee was caught when a blogger became suspicious and notified Kodansha. Kodansha said that the act is abominable, and the employee will be dealt with accordingly.
