The Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music (TNUFAM) have filed an application to Japan’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology to start a new graduate program in Animation. If approved it will be the first undergraduate or graduate major program for animation in a national public university in Japan, launching next April in its visual arts graduate school in Yokohama.
