The official website of Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei is currently holding a poll, which asks visitors the following question: “Please remove Maeda-kun’s face in DVD! Yes or No?” Maeda-kun is a former assistant of Koji Kumeta, author of Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, who often has cameo appearances in the original manga series. The anime director, Akiyuki Shinbo, also uses images of his face to cover up sensitive body regions on the girls.
