According to Nikkei News, Tezuka Production will provide all the Tezuka Osamu’s works published before 2000 for free within the next three years. About 700 titles of manga and 100 titles of anime will be available online on the web site ” TezukaOsamu.net”. Currently, the first one or two episodes of manga and the first 8 – 15min of the anime episodes are provided. They will make English and Korean web sites in the near future.
In this December, Tezuka Production will provide all of Tezuka Osamu’s characters and movies to “Niconi-Commons”, a licensed material database for the secondary creation. Users of “Niconico Douga” are allowed to create MAD/AMV using these materials.
