According to the official website, the second season of Working!! was announced on April 2nd. This is not an April Fool’s joke.

A Blu-ray box set of the first season was also announced to be released on August 24th. The trailer of website manga version of the anime was an April Fool’s joke and a reward to the manga author from the anime producers.
