Hiromu Arakawa is drawing a manga adaption of the light novel “The Heroic Legend of Arslan” by Yoshiki Tanaka. The adaption will appear in the June issue of the magazine Bessatsu Shounen Magazine.
Hiromu Arakawa is a well-known mangaka for her works like Fullmetal Alchemist and Hero Tales. Yoshiki Tanaka is a well-know writer of light novels which include the Legend of the Galactic Heroes.
The Heroic Legend of Arslan was previously adapted in a manga by Chisato Nakamura. It has also been turned into two movies and a four-part OVA series.
