Patlabor Mangaka Yuuki Masami’s “Tetsuwan Birdy” (Birdy the Mighty) is being converted into an anime, to air this summer. The cast and channel have yet to be decided, and it has been said that the anime version will differ in story and setting from the manga. The manga is currently publishing, with 17 the most recent volume.
