According to AFP news, Taiwan Ministry of Justice distributed 2,000 copies of Japanese manga “Aishiteru ~Kaiyo~” to the public prosecutors. It’s a part of their champaign “Judiciary For Restoration”, which promotes the restoration of the relationships between the victims and the accused.
Manga Aishiteru is written by Ito Minoru and about a juvenile murder case, where a ten year old boy killed a seven year old boy. Ito depicted the distress of the two families and the reconciliation between them. A live action TV drama was aired last year.

The executives of the ministry said “the prosecutors will have deeper compassion and will be encouraged to ease the confrontation between the victims and the accused.”
